Same old. Exhaust, big mouth, extractors underdrives(? will be confirmed by others) are the best bang for bucks starting lineup.

I'd agree with 79raven, they are common and easy upgrades.
I had a look around and you would be expecting to pay round $1900 - $2000 on parts alone. - Extractors and exhaust: $1500 http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/FORD-FALCON-FG-XR6-SEDAN-PACEMAKER-EXTRACTORS-HIGH-FLOW-CAT-REDBACK-2-5-EXHAUST-/150765214270?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item231a4e9a3e&_uhb=1#ht_2431wt_893 - Bigmouth: $97 http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/SS-Inductions-Ford-Falcon-FG-XR8-Big-Mouth-Cold-Air-Kit-/330766246702?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4d0334632e&_uhb=1#ht_1859wt_1014 - Under drive pulleys: $300 http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/BA-BF-FG-FALCON-4-0L-20-UNDERDRIVE-BALANCER-PULLEY-KIT-/200608225429?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2eb52e9895&_uhb=1#ht_1074wt_780 |

Sorry dude, didnt mean to sound gruff, was searching ebay myself for unrelated parts at the same time. The advise I offered is general and seeing I have not owned a Bf and own an E series Ill leave the rest to the blokes on here that know their s**t. You'll get plenty of excellent advise on here mate. Good luck and have fun. |

Thing is too man, your beasts now almost 6 years old. Some parts like extractors and s**t can come up from time to time on here and ebay cheap second hand in good condition. Thats always an option instead of just going new.

Whoops my bad mate, I read that as being an fg not bf
But those prices are still similar if not the same for the bf. |

And a generic tune just on its own can give a good gain. But if all the above mods are done a custom tune would be best.make it go like a cut cat and use less fuel. .

If you want, you could do an Fg manifold conversion. Like me, but smarter, i've seen complete second hand engines on eBay going for around $800. Strip what you need, then sell the rest. It would certainly be cheaper than buying the individual parts like I did.
