Guys and Gals, Im having an issue with my boot rubber. The original one was perished so I bought another secondhand one of a member on here a while ago. First it was not sealing and letting water into the boot, so I ran some sealant on the inside of the rubber where it pushes onto the well. That worked but ever since I am not actually getting water inside the boot as such but under the boot lid carpet.
The way I installed it was so the rubber folds inside the boot ( hope that makes sense), is that the right way? Also can you buy these new still?
I ask because I just blew a second fuel pump and thinking maybe water was getting in to cause the fail. I dont want the new one to die too.
