Hey All,
Can anyone give me a definite answer as to if I can take my 95DT head off and bolt a 94DT straight on? I heard that the rocker arms MAY be different, therefore would need to be changed over for later model ones?
Regards

should be the same, unless the 95DT is a hybrid. if its not im pretty sure it'll be a straight swap.

Hi Mate,

Not sure on the model numbers but there is two head versions... Pre AU which runs a different cam shafter and 2.0:1 rockers...

Then you have the AU head which runs 1.8:1 ratio rockers... I usually tell them apart by the AU (and EL Hybrid) having the conical valve springs, where the pre AU heads didn't... They had straight springs...

There is probably a difference in the physical appearance of the cam shaft too but I wouldn't know what it is...

Cheers,
Tim

As long as the el head isnt a hybrid head.

Awsome. The AU head is 96DT or something like that so I'm safe, just wanted to make sure the 94Dt would fit :)

the au head is a wr2t..
the 96d is a hybrid mix using au valves , springs rockers and cam..
but you can directly fit a el 96d or an au head directly onto any e series providing you run the au cam and rockers....

Cheers Troy, You havent heard of anyone replacing the 95DT with the 94DT have you? I got the head and It looks the same, but some conformation that the head fits would be great before I go and get it ported and polished?
