AU injectors will work, and  it might be a good idea to also use the AU injector rail and fuel pressure regulator.

The full AU rail / reg setup is a fittable option (ie. bolts up fine to EF / EL) and definitely a good idea as far as having newer gear - but it's not absolutely necessary - ie. the AU injectors will fit and work just fine with the existing rail etc.

Something to watch out for is that if you order a set of "reconditioned" AU injectors they might come without the front milky clear coloured plastic O ring retainer discs. That happened to me - bought recon set of AU injectors - which looked brand spankin new! (and of course work fine) - but they came without those discs and a note saying the discs aren't available so use the ones off the old injectors - not much use when ur replacing E series ones as they don't HAVE those discs!

You can actually get all the frikkin discs you want - just not in Australia apparently (anyone got spare banjo and a friendly pig?). I ordered a v8 injector servicing kit on ebay out of the US which had 10 of everything - including those discs - all for the shocking price of AUD $20  Only hassle was waiting a week for them to arrive.

If I sound a tad bitter you're darn tootin - the crap I got from local fuel injection places in response to asking about getting those was insane! From amazement that I was asking such an (apparently) stupid and outlandish thing to open hostility that I was asking such a ridiculous and kinky thing. Gotta love good ole US of A can do attitude (do you realise how "can't do" we've become in Aus!!! ) - "sure buddy how many o them little fellers do ya want".

BA injectors will fit but they will run too rich, you will need a J3 chip to scale them back down.

I bought a new set of Ford Motorsport injectors, they are 24 lb/hr instead of 18 like the std ones are, so I got 8 in a box from Hume Performance.
They appear to be the same as fitted to the 6 litre Holden/Chev V8's....they are grey in colour.
I have a piggyback ECU, so I could tone them down a bit.
