How could new discs need machining?

Im having the same issue, im going to bleed the brakes first then check the master-power booster rod.

open your wallet, let the moths out and buy some new rotors. Braking is possibly THE most critical thing in your car to have right. Spend the money do it right, do it once. Its not like E series brakes are expensive. but then E series owners can be so damn cheap as well.

You ask this after 18 months from the last post. And if you read the original post, he say's "they are second hand discs and some cheap heavy duty brake pads". So if they are second hand and with new pads they probably need machining.

As for your problem, do you have good pedal feel, if you do then there is no need to bleed your brakes.

Have you got new discs and pads or are they been on the car for a while?
