hey guys i just bought my first car its a eb series 2 we cant find the button to open the fuel tank cover we think there is not one in the car we gave ford a buss and they said if there i not one next to the boot release ots below the steering wheel but once again it is not there i am yet to register it we got to put fuel in it for the road worthy so any help would help cheers eb2lover (sort of)

if you can't find it, there *should* be an emergency pull-tab located in the boot, behind where the fuel door is!

The switch is located in the right side of the switch panel immediatly to the right of the sreering column it is a push on type switch which operates a solenoid release latch at the fuel filler door.
If the solenoid fails to operate there is a cable attached tothe solenoid shaftwhich when pulled releases the fuel filler door to access the fuel solenoid remove the trim cover on the left side of the luggage compartment.
