A couple of minor faults on the car that I need some assistance with.

[list=]The car I bought doesn't have an alarm/immobilizer or key-less remote device. In the TE50 owner’s manual they give instructions on how to re-code/program key. If it is the case can I buy a new set of keys and one of the key-less entry devices and program them both to work on the car.

Secondly, will the aircon pipes and other stuff from an EL Falcon work on an AU1?

At night when I turn on the lights the odometer light goes off, what can be the problem.

Speedo cruise doesn't go on

Doesn't idle evenly :

At times over whelming petrol fumes in cabin

Doesn't want to start first time. I think its because the fuel mixture is to rich.

Any advice.

The petrol smell in the cabin is probably a stuffed purge solenoid. I had the same issue. I replaced the stock valve with one from Jaycar and it seems to have solved the problem.
