air con works perfect and cuts in and out find...how ever just of late it makes the bearing sound when it cuts in only??...any tips ..could this be an inline filter...or a worn bearing...any one with the same problem with the solution?

Remove the serpentine belt and spin the A/C compressor by hand. If you feel any 'rumbling' or if there is any play in it the bearings in the compressor are on the way out. Not sure if you can replace the bearings alone or if you'll need to get a new compressor however.
