Hey guys so i have a problem with my 1996 ef , occasionally when i start it , it will be fine but after a bit it will start to run really rough dumping plenty of petrol and running like it has a dirty big cam in it , while its running bad the temp gauge stays on zero and the economy light comes on on the dash , now i have done plugs , leads and cleaned the throttle body checked all the vaccum lines but it still only does it tempermentally so im stumped anyone had this issue?

Check the tube from manifold to map sensor, it may have come off or be cracked and broken.

checked the computer for codes to see what it thinks is the issue?

check fuel rail pressure? Not a crook regulator?

it's not a faulty computer is it?

Cheers,
Tim
