I'm planning on lowering my ba xr soon and I'm just after some advice, I got springs and shocks, I'm looking into a camber for the front but do I need to change bushes and swaybars and stabilizer bars?
Thanks

you dont have to change your bushes or swaybars, however doing so will improve the cars handling. your ride will also become a lot harsher. you may also need a camber kit on the rear, i know i did when i lowered my xr6

So do you have a camber kit installed all round or on one side front and rear?

I know mines has been lowered and I have the sway bars upgraded and sway bar links but still haven't done the camber kit.

Nope, the bar you have is sufficient for normal driving. As to the Camber kits, why do you need to add them on the front? BA/BF XR's already have the brackets with longer bolts and thicker spacers from the factory, spending $100.00+ won't make it any better as with what you have you can add shims to it. The rear would be a VERY good idea but, I would check and make sure that you haven't already got the adjustable type, XR8's had and GT's, GTP's and F6's.

Thanks Smurf I noticed that when I had the car up last night, might look into shimming the front and checkout the rear.

Not going to tread hijack... Scraping you should check out White Line Sway bars if you are going to upgrade I think from memory Smurf's xr6 has 27mm in the front of his car and I picked up a second hand 30mm sway bar. I have a friend that has pedders sway bars(not to sure of the size) which do the job as well.
