I've just bought a leather wrapped auto shifter and handbrake lever from an LTD to fit my NL. Does the shifter just screw off the chrome shaft? And can the handbrake levers leather wrap be removed and swapped onto the NL's handbrake or will the whole assembly have to be swapped over?

Loosen the large nut under the shifter knob and unscrew the shifter knob/handle. Fitting is the reverse.

Handbrake grip just slips off with a little force.
