Is swapping the 302w from my Au xr8 to my Ef Xr8 as easy as I think it is in my head.

My heads saying

Pull motor and trans from both cars.
Remove looms ecu and wiring and swap them over or graft them into the existing wiring
Hook it back up and drive away

Any thing else I've probably not considered?

you will need to retain the EF dizzy. But, yeah, thats about it.. You may also want to look at the AIT position, the E series has it in the lower manifold, AU has it in the Intake pipe pre manifold.

Yh if you swap just the motor the ef will need the dizzy, your ef ecu should run it.

Then I have to get the ecu chipped as the au is manual and I want to bang the hole thing across.
Pedal box will suck balls but

Pedal box is the easiest bit. Mal Wood pin.

Based on that fact my Mum is the best around!

That's a lot easier then removing the Au one and fitting it into the Ef

Depends how you want to do it?

Or the best way?

It's alot easier than removing the AU one and fitting it to the EF, because that WONT BE HAPPENING.
