The aircon part of my bf Ute isn't responding when I push any buttons or try to turn the fan on. Have I blown a fuse somewhere?

Still not working. Wouldn't mind getting the heater and aircon back for winter :)

Sounds like you have either a HIM module problem or, the heater vent shaft is broken or, both.
It IS a big job to replace, the shaft is under $60.00 NEW but the HIM module is $770.00 from Ford.

The WHOLE dash has to be removed and, if it is a HIM then it will have to be programmed by a Ford dealer after you have fitted a new one.

I am putting a link to a thread that has a .pdf file you can download and have a look at.

I had a very similar problem with my BA ICC. It turned out the PCB at the front of the ICC with the buttons on it had developed a crack - hence the radio controls and air con controls were not working. I was able to fix it with a couple of wire links between the broken tracks, popped it back in and bingo :) Worth checking before you go shelling out on a new module.
