my engine wouldn't start the other day and i probably flooded my engine with excess petrol when i kept trying to start her up. i was told to take out the sparkies and clean them or something? is that an issue?

when i take them out, i have to put them back in but i dun have the right equipment so i have to do it by hand, how tight do the sparkies have to be? i dun want to break anything

Dude, go and get a cheap a** toolkit... it should have a spark plug socket and you can use this with the shifter...

Dont ever overtighten sparkplugs, you can seriously damage the head. Put a small amount of grease on the thread so they dont sieze up in the there... screw in by hand... when the plug is threaded in to the point where it touches the face of the head, use the shifter to turn it another 1/4 turn. Doesnt need to be heaps tight.

BTW if you flood an EFI car, put your foot to the floor with the accelerator (unless you start on LPG) and crank the engine. Flooring the pedal enables flood-clear mode... EFI wont inject fuel if you have foot to the floor so you'll be able to clear the chambers...

That would be based on the assumption that the TPS is working correctly and giving the correct WOT voltage of course

multi point is short for multi point electronic fuel ingection.

so no difference with what we are referring to.

cpi is central point injection.
