So the EL's come standard with the grey pinch weld/whatever you want to call it if your unfamiliar with my terminology it's the stuff that goes around your door jams holds your interior trim in place. It's like the standard pinch weld with a little U shape overlap thing off the side that holds the trim.

I've tried Rare Spares, Clark Rubber, Ovesco (industrial supplier of rubbers etc) EBay is pretty lacking also...

So yeah long story short no luck. Normal pinch weld will go around the door jam but won't hold the trim in.

I need it in black any suggestions? Otherwise I'm just going to paint it with vinyl dye.

If you do go vinyl dye, make sure you get the vht dye. Cheap @rse vinyl paint sux camel scrote

+1 on that, the vht stuff ive been using has came up great.

Yeah I've used the VHT Satin Black on everything else...comes up sweet but I want to save painting it and replace it lol

Ive been hunting for exactly same thing as you for a fair while now... (except I call it weather strip...could be wrong?) With exactly same ammount of luck...

I was even looking at it earlier thinking can I live with the grey....?

Looks like vht for both of us.
