Hi there fellow modders.

My xh ute wouldn't start the other day
and after having a mechanic come and look at it he said
the bcm is faulty.

It is getting fuel to the injectors but won't start..

I had a look under the dash above the accelerator pedal
and saw a brown bcm. I was wondering can I replace this
with a black ef bcm? My ute is a 96 xh series one 6 cyl manual.

Funny thing, my old man has an auto 96 XH in the backyard and it won't start either.

Sometimes it will start and run for a second but as soon as you touch the accelerator, it dies.

Have replaced the fuel filter, fuel pump, checked all the fuses and fusible links/relays to no avail.

The bcm in this it's is brown. Could this be the same issue as above?

i had a xh that did the same, changed the dizzy all good after that.
