Hi Guys,

Im a few weeks away from finishing my EL Dash & Interior conversion and im just looking at options EL have over ED and the adjustable seat belt height is one thing i want. Now here i have 2 pictures.

well waht im about to do is angle grind the b pillars off tomorrow and see what i cna unpic and give to a friend of mine to wield in shoudl be able to be done

I think you'll need an engineer's report to muck around with seatbelt anchors. They are regulated by the ADRs.

I wouldnt go cutting out B pillars and welding in new ones either, as they are a key part of the roofs structure, and could possibly fail in a crash.

well ive already had my el floor mounts for seats wielded in without needing engineering i am not wielding in a entire b pillar. On the ed there are 1 interior side skins on the el there are 3 the 3 skin is just a cover then 2 is the actual mounting holes and the 1 major skin is the inside of the b pillar im thinkign of getting the 2 outer skin wieled onto with 1 ed skin so in theory its basicly same as a el. look the e series are the same floor pan just there got a few more layers on the inside eg over the tram tunnel and stuff.
