Hi, can someone tell me if there is a difference in T5 gearboxs 6cyl and 8cyl. I want to put one in XE falcon with 351 windsor that puts out 400 bhp at the rear wheels. car is used for track days.

Input shaft is a different length. V8 is longer.
A six cylinder T5 can be fitted using a single rail bellhousing after some slight machining and redrilling. How long a T5 behind 400HP on the track is going to last is anyone guess.

T5 wouldn't last that long with regular track work, would be better off with a T56.
