Ok a little help from those who know will be orsm. i have an nc ghia that i have fitted an eb tickford motor to i also have an ef engine sitting here.
and it got me thinking a little would i. (a) fit rebuilt ef engine with tickford head (b) fit all internals from ef engine into my original fairlane engine with ticky head. i would also like to know if an au mains girdle or a ba windage tray will fit either an ef or earlier engine i have heard that an ef crank has better balancing than earlier engines and since the best stock combo is from ef/el. and i would think an ef engine will fit without too much hassle with all my earlier peices like alt pwr steer and such. if i am wrong about any of this tell me and any other info that may be useful to what i am trying to do will be great thankyou.

if the EF motor is rebuilt, i'd fit the ticky head to it and be done. No, AU stud girdle won't fit as it cross bolts into the AU sump. and no, AU sump won't work.
Girdles can be bought aftermarket though

dude, it's literally the same engine. Used the EA-ED mounts, pull out the synchroniser, swap the drive gear into your NC dizzy, drop the dizzy in. Use the NC manifolds.
Also, if I was you, i'd use the EF serpentine belt setup

you'd have to change the timing cover to the EF one. and balancer. So the timing mark lines up again. Use the EA-ED A/C bracket, but then use all the EF accessories EXCEPT you'll have to buy a XH ute with a log manifold belt tensioner. They are different to EF/L or XH XR6 ones. A EF/L one won't work.

I believe so. Just with an AU engine when you remove the synchroniser to fit the dizzy. Swap the AU gear onto your dizzy. Stops them from chewing out the auxiliary shaft gear
