On my 5.0 AU ute I have a 3" Lukey exhaust and it tends to drone a bit until the exhaust system heats up then it sounds tough so there might be a chance you could get a system that drones a bit if it's 3".

A twin 3 is a little large for a 260 Muzz, You'll make your bottom end torque worse. What cat back system are you currently running?
I tried removing the rear muffler on my Pursuit with a twin 2 1/2 X-force system but it was just too loud and actually sounded s**t to boot. |

If your going for top end power or plan a turbo or supercharger down the track a 3" system is worth thinking about, maybe a system with an Xforce Varex muffler would be alright so
You can stop the system from droning/ being to loud when your just driving around town?

Dynomax VT mufflers apparently eliminate droning and I've seen them for sale on ebay too. Might be worth looking into if you get a 3" system and experience some droning.
