I have a Au series 1 fairmont wagon and I dont have traction control. But it was an option on the Fairmonts, but standard on the ghias and the series 2 and 3 fairmonts. I have been told that all I need to get it going is the button and have a ford dealer activate it, is this true? I have notice that the is a spare connection where the traction control goes, is this for it or something else?
