You could also look for a Hydratrak diff from an XH Outback.

If you are going to give it a hard time, i would look at one of those Kaaz centers, as lsd's never last.
Not cheap but supposed to be very good and dont ware like factory lsd's. http://www.kaazusa.com/ |

9" is a lot of dead weight and overkill now days unless you are making lots of power.
You can actually feel the power loss when you drive once its fitted. Rebuild the borg warner and fit a lock right locker to it. I had one done in my old NF 5.0. 3.45's and a lockright. Was absolutely mental to drive. My diff lasted with me driving it with numerous trip to WSID with BIG burnouts and canned on the street. Then when I stripped the car the diff went into dc_todds old Green Pig EF XR6 where it was flogged from the time it was started to the time it was turned off. Once that car got writted off , the diff ended up in Troymans ED XR6 Turbo where it copped more punishment and burnouts at WSID with lots of power. Now the diff has been removed from that and gone back into dc_todds EF Racecan where it gets flogged on the track. It has copped all that and still doesnt even make a whine. My recommendation with a 5.0 would be fit a lock right and a set of 3.9 gears. I have 3.9's in my AU 5.0 manual ute and its great to drive. I would of gone lockright again but unfortunately when my diff went bang the dollars wouldnt stretch to me buying another one at the time , so I am currently making do with a tightened limo. In Sydney I use and strongly recommend Bears Diffs at Dunheved.

Based on that fact my Mum is the best around! |

You won't find a factory fitted 9" diff in an XD....XC was the last Falcon to be fitted with them from factory......just sayin.
