I bought a central locking button the other day and a second lock actuator so I have one in both doors but they are not connected to anything and I cannot see where to attach them. Any help muchly appreciated cheers

What year xh is it? Not sure if they all had remote central locking. Are there any connections in the doors?

Xr6 series II and what do you mean by connection in the doors? When I bought the car the passenger door already had one mounted in it but the cable ran/connected to nothing.
