Hey fellas I'm new to this so don't judge haha, just wondering if the ea intake manifold plugs and what not are the same as the ef ones a I am trying this out to minimise intercooler piping on me ef xr6t, thinking it might be different but any help would be good,
Cheers in advance haha |

Is your EA MPFI?
EF manifold has one big square plug at the firewall end... EA will have 2 probably if it is the same as ED... Most items will plug in the same... IAC has a different plug... The lengths of some things will need to be changed... I fitted an AU one to my ED and needed the EF/EL upper manifold... Used the AU IAC which is different to the EF/EL one... I customised my ED harness to reach the bits and pieces which were at different lengths... A lot of info will be in my build thread... The harness isn't overly difficult... Just requires laying it out on the table and adding wires in to a couple of things and taping up so everything breaks out at the right place... My build thread is linked in my sig below... It'll be part of the VCT install... Cheers, Tim

Cheers SWC... Learn something new every day... Same as ED plugs?
I reckon easiest way is to use your harness and just lengthen the wiring for the TPS and IAC... Untape it, lay it out on the manifold on the table and measure and solder in bits of wiring... Heatshrink the joins and then tape the harness up... Once you have it measured on the table when you put the manifold on you it'll just plug in and work... Cheers, Tim

Cheers, Tim Ahh yes the good old single plug as mentioned by SWC held in via the 10MM bolt so annoying if you ask me Just as tim mentioned may just have to do some custom wiring most likely the easiest way |

Tim's advice will be your best bet.
I do have a spare EL manifold harness and a log manifold you can have if you like - you'd be not too far from me. Only really seen a couple of EF XR6's getting around here, both white.
