Hey All,
I'm in the process of installing a Walbro Fuel Pump in my XR6, I think I have most of the process down pat. But wouldn't mind a run through of putting it in. Particularly the wiring. Cheers guys!

hey
regarding the wiring i managed to fit it into my EA i followed where the factory wires go into then pulled the crimp terminals of and placed the walbro crimps in that place , may need to stretch out the walbro crimps a little I also did the lazy way of tieing up the excess wire in a knot so i didn't need to re cut and solder / heat shrink it etc I know vs EA to EL the wiring is the very slightest bit different but it should be the same concept Fitting it , was quite simple also it all went together just fine sure the socks a little smaller in the GSS342s but so be it |

You wouldn't have a few pic of the wiring would you? Yeah I had the same idea with regards to following the factory lines.

Nah sorry But it was kind of like when you have to much length in a cord when doing speakers etc and you leave some spare and just fold it up like after using a extension cord in hops then tie around it with the cable i know it sound dodgy as sin but honestly its 10-25CM at MAX thats to much But if you could get new crimps and cut then add the crimps that would be a seasoned pro job but as long as there not getting tangled up etc should be all fine could you do me a favor though ? is this a GSS342 ? |

I have got a GSS342 but the car is a back yard garden ornament so i havent driven it yet But what worries me is when the fuel splashes around at below 1/3 would it cut out ? due to the pump isnt so deep in Also what about fuel pressure etc ? more flow they 3442 is , i guess a tune can easily fix that ? |

Yeah it does, after a bit of research I have seen a few people complaining that the car will cut out at like 1/4. But Some people found it didn't happen. A tune would sort it out no worries
