hey
Im just flushing out my radiator, and the manual says to disconnect the heater hose from a pipe, and it should be located under inlet manifold number 5, however, i cant find it, can anyone else give a better description, like size of pipe, and where it actually is, or a better way to stick a hose in to flush the system out. THANKS |

I just remove both hoses at the firewall and shove the hose through one pipe with pressure then the other

Sounds to me the manual is refering to the heater hose at the rear of the pipe that runs out of the bottom of the theromstat housing. Follow the pipe back and you should be able to feel it. To get to it it will be easier to remove the air box.

yer by the heater tap i would say and the number is refgering to number 5 cylinder...
bets done from under the car to get at the tap but all i would do is remove the thermostat housing, tunr the heater to "on" and stiuck the hose down the thermostat hole and the down the pipe that leads to the rad!

If you still can't find it:
The metal one that comes out of the thermostat housing. It then turns into a rubber hose. Then goes to the heater tap.
