Can el driving/did lights be made to fit hid lights or can I get I get hid to fit them ??

EL's don't have driving lights or fog lights, unless you aftermarket fit them. Only EL that had driving lights was the EL GT.

If you're talking about them, they are usually a twist type halogen globe. You can get LED replacements, but a HID fit would be a bit of a custom job. I was always thinking about wiring up a H3 plug in the corner lamps, then run the HIDs off that.

As I said the onlt EL that had driving lights was the EL GT. Converting these to "Driving Lights won't work as the beam will shine to the side, anything that can throw enough light will melt the casing. |

Ok than I thought they was driving/ fog light than ford recalled them and changed them to indicators

Recently bought these for my cornering lamps (hooked up as DLR's so thery run constantly)
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2x-1156-BA15 ... 918wt_1141 Havent got them yet, but should be an improvement, and it will produce less heat so don't have to worry about melting the casing.

What do you mean by 'hooked up as DLR's' ? They run independently - off a relay and there is a switch located on the steering console. i usually have them on during the day to increase visibility. I received them in the post the other day - WAAAY too bright. enough to blind drivers oncoming, so i took them off. The old globes provide more luminescence as the new ones from ebay seemingly point straight upwards - the reflectors cannot cope!

Too bright? Oh... I'll just fit them and use them as cornering lights, that'd be ok.
