The bad news is they are a fully encapsulated window so that means the window and rubber is one piece and they are no longer made or available...it is a common problem seen on pretty much every EF/EL I fixed mine by taping the window and surrounding area and sanding with a fine paper until most of the pits/sandblast look is gone. I then used wax and grease remover and primed with Motospray Bumper prime a few times to try fill any pits and then followed with Motospray Bumper Black. Do a few coats allowing to dry between coats. These are a flexible paint designed for bumpers and rubbers so they won't crack or crack as bad as regular paint. I work at Autobarn and we have them for like $17 a tin.
