Hi guys, anybody know if XA-C coupe fuel tanks are the same as sedan (or ute or wagon)? I'm in the process of getting the petrol side of things working in my coupe - hasn't had petrol through it in over a decade (running LPG only at the moment)
Anyway, I was just looking in the spare wheel well, there a bit of surface rust with some pitting there - don't know at this stage whether it is actually through the metal but I once had an XW with similar pitting, and in one or two places with a full tank fuel would seep out into the spare tyre area....not good. Soooo... if thats the case here, i'll want to replace the fuel tank - just hoping its not specific to the coupe because obviously rare = $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Pretty sure they are the same, I remember a mate putting a long range tank in his coupe at the time and pretty sure it came from a sedan.
