Hey guys,
i was looking at the car today from a side on, its an EA, anyway i saw the back of the car is high compared to the front. Is it possible to just dump the back a little and leave the front. I dont want real low but just enough to make it level out with the front. What would i replace, as its only and inch or two i want off the back, the springs or the shocks. I thought as i am not dumping it a heap thought the shocks wouldn't bottom out and would survive and handling would be alright. What springs would you recommend if this is possible. cheers |

have you got a pic?
if it's stock ride, and you can go an inch lower at the back, just fit king springs low's. don't go superlows, or you'll have the speed boat thing happening.

its stock, and fitting them wont affect the shocks...like bottoming out.

im pretty sure you can run the normal shocks, but superlows requires new shocks.
I flogged mine out.

this is caused by the weight the front springs and shocks have had to put up with over the years!

you can do it yourself, i did.
i used spring compressors in mine, and for a mates we jacked one side of the car up, and left the other side on the ground. the side that was jacked up, the spring slid out. I don't think that the stock ea spring would come out without spring compressors. The spring compressors cost me $22 for a cheap pair and $50 for a good pair.

nar you can't put front on rear, they're different thickness, width and height.
dmac - they will just either pull out or slide out. when you do it you will know what i mean.
