I have an AU with king low springs, forgotten the part numbers but checked before putting them in that they were right and just the lows. I notice the back end sits about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch lower than the front. Just wondering if this was normal ?
Just noticed because I was thinking of raising the back a bit as the tow bar is taking chunks out of the road everytime i back out of a driveway and it's starting to annoy me. Don't have anything in the boot etc.
It's maybe not literally taking chunks out but it sure hits with a hell of a bang and then long scrape no matter how slowly I go, and that's just on normal flat driveways.
Not sure if it's the standard towbar, was put on by the previous owner for towing caravans. It's square at the end rather than the usual flat end.

if you have the same height springs+shocks all around it should sit about the same. (wheel to arch)
when i had super lows in mine i scraped the towbar all the time.. exit sideways. I even scrape it with 1 coil off the standard springs in now

Edit: also would you mind putting a pic up of how yours sits with lows in it, thats what im looking at getting in mine

Yup have attatched one. Damn wheel caps look even more embaressing in photos it seems. :P
Doesn't seem to look a lot higher than yours.
Edit: actually looking at both from along the bottom yours does seem a fair bit lower. I was just looking at the wheels in the guard at first.

Even mine does it. I don't take a lot of notice actually and it is much better than the way XR's look with standard type rear and front springs. I also have King front and rear springs, maybe I need to change the front Struts to get it to sit better but I don't think that would really help.

Ah yup I can see the same on yours. The look doesn't bother me, I never even noticed it really until investigating why the towbar was hitting so readily with only lows.
Since I put the springs in myself there was a chance I had stuffed something :)

Most unusual to bugger anything up. I even replaced the rear shocks, rear upper and lower control arms and Watts link Bushes.

For what it's worth, when I fitted King "Low" springs in my ED I ended up having to put two x 10mm spacers on top of the rear springs to stop it looking ridiculously a*** dragging.

When I transferred the suspension from that ED to my EF I got "Low" springs for XF and they were perfect for stance (the XF Lows are between E series Low and Std height).

I don't know if your cars are IRS or Live axle and if the latter, whether they use same springs as E Series.
