Guys,
Curious if anyone here is part of the smash repair industry? Or has more general knowledge than I? AU ute/one tonner rear rails... One here with a bent one, it appears they slide into the back of the body and have maybe two spot welds and some sort of crash tube holding them in? Seems not right but... Haven't done much scratching around yet (dark)... Maybe someone knows straight up... Its tossing up between putting it on the bot or replacing that part... Cheers, Tim

How bad is the bend? Most smash repairers will be able to straighten it if it isn't too bad.

Ah not too bad...
The leaf came up and put a dent in it...pushed it in an inch or so... Yeah figured that the auto bot would straighten it no worries... Working out if it can be done at home... Just the standard hassle of trying to cart an undrivable ute back and forward... Cheers, Tim

yeah I found a set on there... but was the degree of difficulty and how much cutting was involved... If it is something likely to weaken the integrity of the overall chassis than it's worth loading onto a truck and having it put on the bot...
Cheers, Tim
