Hi i am replacing the fuel injectors on my Ford 5 Litre V8 windsor engine ,which is in a EB 1992 Falcon ( not sure if i need that info) ,, wondering if there are any brands i should stay clear of,, what would be a recommended brand of fuel injector and any suggestions where to purchase a set without being ripped off (as i have noticed there can be around $120 difference in some auto part shops).. I have had to remove them due to welding the valley cover due to a hole caused by corrsosion,so thought it wont harm to replace them as they are the originals making the fuel injectors 21 years old although they were running fine untill replacing the valley cover....thanks for a great site...

Why don't you just get them cleaned, they will be as good as new then. Had mine done recently for $200 and they replaced all the little parts internally.

You can use the AU Six injectors if you wish, will give you a better spray pattern. E series V8's were only fitted with 19lb injectors, so was the six.

You can fit AU 4L injectors to an E-series 5L? What a great upgrade! I just had a quick look on eBsy and most of the listings for AU injectors say that they won't fit a V8?

They won't fit the AU V8 as they were a different plug for the injectors.

They won't fit the AU V8 as they were a different plug for the injectors.

And most AU V8's had 24lb injectors.
