I'm new. Good that's out of the way. This is probably a common question, but is there any simple bolt on or other mods that will increase the HP of a non turbo six.

Underdrives and an FG V8 intake would be a great way to start. Wont affect your warranty either (Intake wont, underdrive pulley they most likely wouldnt even notice)

Underdrive pulley and intake, were would I get them from and what kind of gains might I get? They both sound interesting.

Listen to him, he is a ford employee so he knows his s**t.

Nothing worse than having your warranty void because of a trivial issue which you thought was okay.

Thanks for the info. Money wise, probably not all that much. I'd like to see the car do 14's and I think from what I've read, that is quite possible. The car already has an L.S.D fitted which is a big help. Somebody on the forum also said technique has a lot to do with it, how true.
I have driven other Fords, but none of them compare to my current FG R6 ute. It looks great and now the engine is starting to loosen up, it is starting to sound stronger. I haven't tried to launch it hard as it is only 6 weeks old, but give it a bit more KM's and I'll find out.

Ford must be strict on their warranty. At the dealership I work at we've had cars with CAI, MAFless tunes, exhausts, aftermarket cams, bigger wheels, etc.

UNLESS the mod is the direct cause of a issue they're trying to claim under warranty
