Im trying to install illuminated power window switches in my BF Ute. Ive got an illuminated switch and a standard switch and by the looks of things theres an extra pin. By looking at the wiring i have the extra wire there for the pin does this mean it should light up? At the moment it doesnt appear to light up at all??

Im yet to find out. I asked the question a while back but not have had a chance to attempt this yet. Check in search for illuminated ba switches that i posted and there is a bit of discussion on it.

I just had a look at the wiring diagram for the Ute and Sedan and, the wire needed to activate the light is NOT in the ute.
In sedans and wagons the wire is the same for the Cig Lighter illumination and the shifter light and the colour is Blue/Red. I do hope that helps. |
