I recently purchased an NCII Ford Fairlane to join the family of falcons of ours. But the previous owners I just I think a little to mild knowleadge related to installing a stereo I will say this they got the adaptor so they didn't kill the OEM loom, but I have a question I have fixed the mistakes back to factory setup. But for the life of my I can't seem to remember or find what or how to get power back to the aerial.

I am using an aftermarket head deck a pioneer product. with adaptor

I am pretty sure all it needs is an power source to activate the switch or some such, my question is, if I find the pin out which I think is "pin 5" the red and blue wire and run a wire to the accessories the blue and white wire it should come up when the unit is turned on and go down when the unit is off./

Unless some one can't post an alternative so it works how it should only come up with the radio but go down with CD etc

I will have to pull the stereo back out and have alook, cause the button on the dash doesn't do anything. Do the older fairlanes even have bcms and alike? I thought is was an EL onwards related thing.

the only two wires that arn't connected on the head unit is the "remote control something" which I thought was mainly used to turn amp and sub on and off with the head unit.

No idea if it works or not the antenna is all the way down and I can't phsically pull it up. the button on the dash doesn't work. So either the antenna is rooted or no power going to it.
