Most likely fake. My DF LTD (the big daddy of woodgrain) has the stereo surround, shifter surround, door spears, rear vent surround (on the centre console), and also the passenger's side dash spear which are like hens teeth. They were only on DF series 1s because after that they got passenger airbags.

Might be forgetting some obvious bits too.

You can pick the fakes:
A) They look like s**t.
B) You can still see the grey or brown plastic around the edges.. especially when knobs try to flog off the shifter surround stick on jobs on ebay as 'Genuine'.
C) They look like s**t.

well there's your first problem. "LTD Wagon". Never made one in "EL" If it was a LTD it'd be a DL

XR kit AND an LTD grille? Something not too right there, without some decent time spent with reshaping everything.

But surely the claim of a factory LTD wagon was enough to tell you it's fake? I'd suggest your mate tries not to believe everything he reads on the internet from now on.
