I have a Fairmont ghia, with irs and lsd, and I want to put all that into a live axle SR.
how hard would it be, or fairly impossible?

you on FaceBook? Search for a guy named Justin Case. In QLD. He put AU IRS setup into a E series. The AU live axle is the same setup as E-series so should be the same procedure.
BUT QLD engineering laws are a lot more lax than ours in VIC. You'd be cutting a structural part of the car. SO you'd have to get it engineered or run the risk of being pulled up and it being discovered and the car being put of the road.

Piece of piss, but it was never engineered.

I just need to find out what or where I can get an aftermarket cam for a vct engine now

I don't think there is much in the way of cams for VCT. Just do everything around it full exhaust, intake, valve springs, head work, diff gears, etc etc

has a built auto, but no stall? Strange, usually they go hand in hand.
Go some shorter diff gears. Also, call up Wade cams. Not everything listed on cam sites is all they have. They may be able to grind you one up if you send them your VCT cam
