Just completed a 302C to 351C transplant in my partners XA coupe, all went well till motor reached operating temp. Will run if revved but dies at idle, left to cool a while will start and idle as if no problem.. The 302 had a Bosdh solid state ignition system as does the 351 but looks to be an aftermarket item. I used the coil from the 302 as new motor was without coil. Could the coil be the problem, if so what should I be using? Cheers...

If it's a chinese pos dizzy it's most likely that.
