Extractprs I can modify the heat guard to sit over the top, a high flow cat, how can they tell, exhaust is legal, and how will they know that its cammed and ported with bigger valves and different pistons? Without pulling the motor apart they wont know, with the lumpy cam can just say its running rough needs a tune

Yep, just play dumb and act like you don't know what a manifold or camshaft is and she'll be right. Just dont be a a*** otherwise they say
"well, we WE'RE going to let you off on this occasion due to the circumstances HOWEVER because of your attitude..."
trust me, i know

Im Looking at a set of Pacemaker 4499's and a 2.5" Lukey Exhaust on ebay, the paceys are around the $400 mark after postange n handling, and the exhaust is only $170, so not bad really, but going off what beautXG said, would i be best to put a resonator on with the main muffler as with the extractors will be rather loud?

Depends what you like. Most people go with a redback 2.5" with only 1 resonator and muffler and it's loud but with a good note. But I wasnt sure where to go with mine either so I got an Xforce Varex put on, but I drive with it loud now anyway!

yeah, heard good things about the lukey system as well, just want it to be legal thats all (sound wise) i think it should be with the muffler and resonator but unsure with just one muffler.

This is part of whats written in the listing on ebay:
-Includes at least 1 Performance Muffler with a steel mesh core that warms up quickly and maintains optimum temperature for exhaust movement

-Dense acoustical-absorbing material inside the Muffler filters out annoying vibrations and harsh noises, leaving behind only that smooth, throaty growl

Would be the exact same one that i got off Ebay. Definetely a good exhaust man. And it certainly does warm up quickly. Stupid bastard burnt me after about 10 seconds of running after a cold start haha. The only thing is if your installing it yourself at home then you will swear multiple times, i sure did haha.

Yeah mate sounded good. Had a few people say it sounded tough when just idling around the driveway and s**t. No decibel reading but I got my Nan to drive past me while i listened, not much louder then stock when she just went past at 100, just a nice low burble (nothing like the burble of a V8, but still a burble lol). Only when you give it a bit of stick is when you hear it properly and up hills. Would be much better with extractors

Cheers mate, just general accelerating is it a cop attracting loudness or not too bad? cause biggest thing im worried about is the cops, but i hear commodores n s**t that are loud and if the cops pulled them over all the time how come theyre still loud?? so when my dads saying that this exhaust will be a cop attractor, i dont really understand if im doing the right thing on the road when a cop is there, i cant see them pulling me over for noise if it isnt that bad (flat roads in town)
