Hi,
I have recently acquired a 97 XH XR6, It is an absolute pleasure to drive, however I have found that I've needed to put on some driving lights to help boost up the standard high beams. I've had a standard XH before with the same set up. However after getting everything hooked up and wired in all I had to do is connect the relay up to the existing high beam wire. This is usually pretty straight forward, however I don't know if its got something to do with the twin light set up on the XR's, I can't for the life of me get it working. I've examined the wiring diagrams and tried every sensible combination and even some not sensible ones. Does anyone know of any special tricks for the XR's or have I just lost my touch? Phil

A test light will determine which wire is the positive high beam wire.
