hi all im trying to help my partners friend fix her car it is going flat if left sitting to long if tried battery replacing for good battery still goes flat it is get 14.4v on my multimetere wen started and wen I get her to turn ights wiper ac etc on it slightly drops down by little bit I think it was down to 13.8v at one stage.
I cant find any lights or anything on that shouldn't be wen key is out of car ive tried all I know to find problem but cant wat else. would you suggest to try. |

Was the replacement battery a new one, or just a known good one?
That charge rate seems fine. What you can do is pull one lead off the battery, connect the multimeter in series in 'current' mode, to measure any drain occurring. If it is draining, start pulling fuses until it stops. That will narrow your search to whatever runs off that fuse. |
