1. Are the bolts that connect the gearbox to bell housing the same?
2. Do you have to have CLUTCH CABLE FORK BOOT COVER ON HOUSING straight away?
3. flywheel dust cover?
4. Will the gear shifter fit through the same centre console, or does it need to be changed or modified?

cheers
Chris

1: If you mean bellhousing of the T5 to the engine, yes they are the same.
2: No, not absolutely needed for the operation of the transmission. But, I would try to get one to protect the goodies inside.
3: The transmission sandwich plate is the same auto to manual. I'm assuming that this is for an AU according to your signature. It's the same in E-series.
4: Yes it will be the same if you are using an AU T5 as AU extension housings are 50mm longer than E-series.

Hey man, cheers for the info. I had to buy the bell housing separately and it didn't come with the bolts to connect the the gearbox, if I take the bell housing off the auto, those bolts should fit shouldn't they. I sourced a tail shaft for an auto au and got it shortened by 50mm so fingers crossed it'll fit haha. I also found out that even the steel shafts have doble tubing :x So the people who shortened it made it lighter and stronger for a bit more $

Ahh, I see.

I haven't taken the bell housing off an auto before, so I don't know if the bolts are the same.
