The clutch has gone up s**t creek in my xr, was slipping 6 months ago but now it's a deathtrap to turn right into traffic in.

I was quoted $1900 to replace by a service centre that shall not be named.

Really? just for a clutch? Help a brother out.

You can get clutch kits from the US way cheaper than here.
You may need to look at the concentric clutch slave cylinder too while your in there.
You can get them from the US for as little as $50....to suit a Chev 3500HD....they have the Ford part number cast into them too.....seen it with me own eyes.....just swap over the the original clutch lines/fittings.
