I'm sure this has been dealt with numerous times but I can't find so if anyone would be kind enough to post a link I'll buy you a few beers if you're ever in Whyalla. My questions are regarding the throttle body and the absence of the sensor in the manifold.
Throttle body off AU is obviously different from EL so do I just use my old one? Do I also use my EGR spacer plate? The AU one doesn't have an EGR. Also the was a sensor on the left side of my old motor manifold and not one on the AU motor.What do I need to do to over come this? BTW it is V8 to V8 transplant. There will me more questions as I progress. Cheers Chris. |

I'm doing an AU V8 into my EB, What I've done is use the AU Throttle body, AU MAF housing with E Series electrics, EGR Delete (My EB hasn't had a working EGR for about 8 years anyway). I also relocated the inlet temp sensor to the intake pipe, rather than into the runner of #5.

So can I use the EL ISC and the top sensor (think it's called TPS?) on the AU throttle body?

I'm using the EB ISC and EB TPS's, yes.

Too easy. What do I do with the EGR valve plug, do I have to trick the computer somehow or just leave it unplugged?
