Hi folks, my front seatbelts seem to have a bit of trouble retracting to the "park" position. Can anybody suggest a fix for this?

Pull them out as far as they go, wash them down with warm soapy water and a brush. They get dirty over time and it gums up the retracting part. Won't be as good as new but definitely a huge improvement for bugger all cost.

I shall give that a go. They do seem pretty grotty. I mean, after 14 years.......

And then, after cleaning them spray some silicone spray on the inside of the seat belt... the side that rubs on the guide. This will make it retract like new.
