I am currently running 12 degree advance (static) and use BP 98 Gas - no pinking - change down manually when the load requires - e.g. steep hills, overtaking etc

Is anyone driving an EL with substantially more advance than mine?

Advancing the dizzy won't do much, as the EL's have a Knock sensor, and this will come into play.
