G'day, guys.
I own a '97 EL Falcon GLi station wagon and want to do the exterior door handle LED mod. My problem is, how do I remove the exterior door handles from the car so that I can drill holes and install an LED in the door handle in such a way that it will be visible from the outside of the car? Thanks in advance for your help, guys. It is very much appreciated! P.S. For what it is worth, I am very aware of how to remove the door skin, internal door handle and window winder handle. I am just unsure as to what I must do to remove that exterior door handle, in such a way that I will be able to reinstall it, without damaging any seals that will allow water into my doors.

Hey mate, the exterior handles are taken of by access inside the door. Usually two 10mm nuts one on each end and UNClipping the handle from the rod gently pushing from inside or using a flat screwdriver wrapped in a cloth to protect paint. Prying it out should be really easy thats if it doesn't just fall out

Thanks again, you have been very helpful. Regards, Dillon.
