i have a trusty ol 98 EL Falcon (last of the EL's!) but after 300,000k's it's gearbox is starting to slip on 1st & 2nd, that & it's seals & gaskets are starting to weep from one end to the other!

anyone know of any decent (& affordable) places that can recondition or sell reconditioned gearboxes in the Hunter valley or central coast area? if so how much would i be looking at? - im not really willing to travel as far as Sydney but i will if i get desperate.

Also looking for an EL 3.08 diff because the one i brought from a now closed down wreckers!! (GRRRRRRR!) is bent!! - but still drivable. (and the one i replaced is seized!)

most places in syd do them for about $1250 box only
