I bought a new FG G6 eco gas sedan a year ago at Ford dealership. All has been ok until I was driving along 3 months ago and I got a warning flash about some problem with the engine. All of a sudden I came to a stop as the car was spluttering and shaking. Anyway I was told it was the throttle acuator. I was a bit cross as a new car should not have problems. That was fixed by Ford and all good. On Friday I get a letter from Ford saying my car has been recalled and the cyclinder head needs to be changed as my car will eventually have poor motor performance. So its all booked in for next week. Why couldnt they give me another new car instead for all of my hassles. |

Hi,
Isnt life tough. They fix a problem, then let you know they want to prevent another. They should give you a refund, and have the salesman shot. Are you a Public Servant by any chance ?

Looks like ford have done the right thing by fixing your vehicle.
But i am also a believer if a vehicle is serviced correctly and driven the way it was intended and designed for you shouldnt have any problems within the warranty period of the vehicle.
